N-Gage Launched Globally10.04.08

I see that after their eight week trial of N-Gage, Nokia are launching the service globally. What caught my eye wasn’t that they’ve finally made the transition from the handheld device to the mobile games market but that FIFA ’08 is in their stable of games. I’m sorry but anything football related always gets me interested.

Before you get excited at the prospect of pretending to be David Beckham wherever you go, it should be noted that at the moment N-Gage is only available for consumers that have the Nokia N81, Nokia N81 8GB, Nokia N82, Nokia N95, and Nokia N95 8GB. If you have one of these devices you’ll need to download the N-Gage application – this can be done either through your PC and then transferring to your phone or just going straight to the moblie website.

Nokia 6133 T-Mobile

The Nokia 6133 mobile phone became the latest of many available from T-Mobile USA recently. The 6133 is a clam shell design with a 1.3 megapixel camera and video recorder, integrated music player and T-Mobile’s “myFaves” service, which lets you call 5 different predefined numbers unlimited in the US.

Nokia N82.

Along with the preview of the N81, RingNokia also got a look ahead at the Nokia N82. The model number is only incremented by one, but we have a feeling price will be incremented a fair amount more.

The Nokia N82 is also quad-band GSM supporting Bluetooth and WiFi, but only has 100MB of memory built into it. You can add your own though, with an included 1GB microSD card or your own card (hot-swappable no less).
